recap of week that's not even over yet

It's Thursday. Noon-ish, Thursday, to be precise. Plenty of crazy left in the week yet.

But we already have for THIS WEEK alone:

Pink eye (under control)
Lola and Autumn on the local news (obviously a 'first time ever' if not 'only time ever')
House down the street gets hit by SUV, causing gas leak, evacuations and street closure. No, really.

Starting my second-to-last week at work (gave my notice last week, a post for another day) while closing one freelance prospect and bidding on two more. But that's boring compared to the rest of it.

Moral of the story: Get life insurance (not through an employer). (Done!)
